Over recent years I have developed a love of pottering in the garden. Although not a spectacular green thumb the garden continuously evolves and includes a variety of small statues, sculptures by other artisans and a couple of old sculptures I created in years gone by. It has become a sanctuary – a place where I lose myself in the moment – clear my head.

The second installment of “Still Life with Fruit” by Lachlan Plain www.lachlanplain.com has now been installed in large baskets clustered around the Bulleen Art & Garden sign.
This exhibition focusses on succulents. Metal sculptures enhance our conceptual ideas of these interesting plants and oil paintings express the textures and colours of the beautiful succulents that give us so much joy.
