‘Earth’s Spirit ‘

8 June 7:00 pm - 7 August 3:00 am

Ceramics by Cathy Field and paintings by Gwen White

Exhibition opening: 3-5pm Sunday 16th June

Exhibition dates: 8th June to 6th August 2024

This is an exhibition of a body of works that is linked through their love and expression of our natural world.

Cathy Field is exhibiting  ceramics, some of which are current functional artistic creations such as cups , bowls, vases, platters, jewelry etc..,Other new works are of a more sculptural nature, such as female nude forms, and other such works.

Her work is inspired by nature and the ‘feminine’ , and our connection with it and is an expression of her innate flowing forms, patterns and imagery.

Her 2D work also ties in with the same theme’s, using mainly watercolour and pencil.

Gwen White

Gwen’s acrylic & oil on canvas paintings also predominately revolve around the expression and depiction of the natural world around her. Some of her works also draw on her world travels.

She plans to produce more paintings of the ocean for this exhibition. She has a very strong pull and connection with the ocean, and with the energy that she feels around it.

The important theme in their works is “the passion of our connection with mother earth , with the elements, with the unseen but felt, spiritual energy, and with the connection to all and one.”

And, here are lots more images of the exhibition
