Artist Statement

“My name is Regina Dudek and I am a Loch (South Gippsland)-based artist who loves to work with rust and found metal.

My medium of choice is assemblage sculpture, where I take pieces of discarded metal and give them new life. I am fascinated by the textures and history that these materials hold, and I strive to create pieces that speak to the natural decay and repurposing of objects. With each creation, I aim to capture the raw beauty of rust and the story behind each found piece of metal.

Through my work, I hope to inspire others to see the beauty in the unexpected and to appreciate the journey of found objects.”
