We have sculptures and hand cut stakes by Margaret Christianson in our Sculpture Garden.
Margaret sculpts in steel, cut with a hand-held plasma cutter in her workshop to again translate the breadth and diversity of the physical world.
She is also a painter and works with acrylics to highlight the textural and decorative detail found in nature.
Her practice is deeply inspired and influenced by the environment, from the vast and varied landscapes of Australia to the seascapes that surround it.
Margaret recently had a successful solo exhibitions, has participated in numerous group exhibitions during her career s and also undertaken commissions. She has also worked with a number of schools, teaching and guiding aspiring artists through the Artist in Residence programs.
