Debora is a multidisciplinary artist from Eltham working across painting, ceramics and felting. Her work is colourful, whimsical and often features animals. She focuses on strong colour, clear forms and a sense of character in each piece.
Painting and ceramics are her main mediums. Her paintings use layered colour and confident mark-making to create lively animal subjects. Her ceramic pieces are more art-focused than functional, with sculptural forms and illustrated surfaces that give each work its own personality.
Her handbuilt forms are painted in her distinctive style. You can find her vessels, bowls, planters in the alcove section of the shop next to the Bolin Bolin Gallery.

Her works also include:
- Painting with multiple media using combinations of ink, paper, crayons, pastel and paint.
- Ceramics.
- Felting animals and 2D pictures .
- Sculpting soft creatures with boiled wool, silk and other natural materials.
- Illustrating using pen and ink.
At the moment I’m experimenting with twining different fibres like banana peel, agapanthus and papyrus stems and teabags.
