Tim is a sculptor from the Bend Of Islands whose passion is working with steel.

Tim dabbled in metal sculpture for a few years, but a move to the banks of the yarra river offered him the space to pursue his enthusiasm for this art form. The Bend Of Islands, a bushy conservation area in Melbourne’s north east, which is home to many artists including painters, potters, writers and sculptors. It is Wurundjeri Country and has a rich aboriginal history and a large variety of native flora and fauna.

Tim’s works with re-claimed steel and finds inspiration through nature, spirituality and the materials he finds.

Tim likes to collaborate with artists in other media. He had a successful exhibition, “Steel, Stone, Wood and Heat”with ceramic artist Jack Latti in 2015 Find out more. And he has an exhibition, ‘Synergies in Steel” with painter Linda MacAuley in February 2016. Find out more

Tim has also been selling his bollards and sculptures regularly at Bulleen Art & Garden – in the driveway, the garden Gallery, the sculpture garden and outside the information stand. The bollards  are striking, individual, long lasting and affordable artworks
