I have been creating artworks for most of my life. I ventured into tapestry weaving, pottery, painting, mosaics and now, limestone sculpture.
Artistic Profile
My art is meant to be viewed through the heart. I have a deep love of nature and I find peace, solitude and creativity through it. My art reflects this. I have always found that art soothes yet stimulates my soul and mind in ways that other educational subjects do not. I have explored various mediums: designing and making weavings, mosaics, paintings and sculpture.
As an artist, I brought a different perspective to teaching Art to Primary students. I encouraged them to explore techniques as well as the elements of art. This allowed the students more flexibility within their own art.

2009 Accepted for the Nillumbik Art Prize in Eltham
2021 Retired from teaching Art at St Mary’s,Greensborough
2024 & 2026 Entered statues and mosaics into the Eltham Rotary Art Exhibition
Mosaics
I use a variety of old crockery, jewellery, beads to add colour, pattern and character to my mosaic faces and other subjects”.
Limestone
I love the texture of limestone, often containing fossils and quartz crystals.
It also ages beautifully outside to a soft grey. Limestone statues are suitable for inside and especially, outside, enhancing gardens.
